1. Purchase & scope
The product or custom scope defines what is being delivered, what is included in setup, and whether any outside services are required.
What happens after you buy a 5 Star Support system, what setup is typically involved, and how future support or custom work is handled.
The product or custom scope defines what is being delivered, what is included in setup, and whether any outside services are required.
Shop/business information, devices, server connection details, staff/technician names and other required configuration are entered.
When more than one device is involved, the connection and synchronization workflow is tested before relying on it for daily use.
Core actions are run through: create a job, update it, verify another device receives it, complete payment/reporting steps, and confirm expected records remain available.
The system moves into daily use once the agreed setup is complete and the business is comfortable with the core workflow.
New features, integrations, custom modules, training, support and updates can be quoted separately when requested.
One-time ownership does not mean unlimited free labor forever. The purchase covers the system and setup described in the order. Ongoing troubleshooting, new features, training, custom changes or future upgrades may be paid services unless they are specifically included in the written agreement.
Some business workflows can depend on services not owned by 5 Star Support, such as payment processors, data providers, domains, hosting providers, email/SMS services, app stores or other integrations. Availability, pricing and terms for those services are controlled by the third party.
For systems that store live business data, the deployment plan should identify where the data lives, how devices synchronize, and what backup or export process applies. The exact implementation can vary by product and customer configuration.
Businesses should keep their existing operational records and backups until they have verified the new system with their actual workflow. A software change should not depend on deleting working historical information just to make setup easier.
Send the business type, number of computers/users, and the workflow you want to run.
